About the Event
Wyrd Realms Festival is something new — a hands-on fantasy festival built around participation. It’s a weekend where you don’t just watch the magic… you step into it.
Across the festival you’ll find tabletop roleplaying games you can join (from beginner-friendly one-shots to longer sessions), miniature painting workshops, free arts and crafts activities, roving performers and characters, and larger-than-life fantasy set pieces and creatures for unforgettable photo moments. There’s also a vibrant market of merchants and vendors offering dice, minis, art, cosplay and handmade treasures, plus food stalls to keep every adventurer well fed.
Whether you’re brand new to roleplaying or a seasoned hero, Wyrd Realms Festival is designed to be welcoming, creative, and immersive — a place to discover new worlds, meet your people, and leave with stories (and souvenirs) you’ll be talking about long after the weekend ends.
How the Festival Works
Wyrd Realms Festival is designed to be easy to jump into. Instead of long lines and “watch-only” programming, the day is built around drop-in experiences and guided sessions—so you can play, learn, explore, and discover at your own pace. Join a tabletop roleplaying game (including beginner-friendly sessions), try miniature painting workshops, relax in free arts and crafts activities, and wander through immersive walk-through set pieces and roaming characters that bring the festival to life. Between adventures, browse the merchant stalls, grab food, and catch pop-up performances happening throughout the venue.

Come ready to explore! Wear comfortable shoes, bring a phone or camera for photos, and consider a small bag for any treasures you pick up from vendors. Costumes and cosplay are encouraged (but not required), and there’s plenty to enjoy whether you’re here for games, creativity, shopping, or family fun. Food vendors will be on-site, and there are spaces to pause and reset between activities—so you can build your own perfect festival day.
